The 26th of January was celebrated in Sydney this year across a number of different events and ceremonies, beginning with a projection of ‘River Life’ by artist James P Simon on the sails of the Opera House.

The events that followed were varied in their approach to the day; some celebrated it as a time for unity, while others commemorated the First Nations People who have suffered the effects of colonisation and dispossession.
