The 2024 Report on Closing the Gap and 2025 commitments have been released by the Federal Government. The Report examines whether the government is on track to meet their goals to improve health and quality of life for First Nations people.

While there have been improvements only 5 of the 19 targets to reduce socio-economic conditions for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People are on track.
