Aus Kids Failing Civics

According to the latest national assessment, only 28% of Year 10 students meet the minimum standard of civics understanding- that is understanding of our government, democracy and relevant history. This a drop of more than 10% since 2019, and is only one component a disturbing trend in which civics knowledge among school kids has bottomed out to its lowest-ever level
