Love Stories plays at IPAC Wollongong

On a business street corner in Brisbane’s CBD, author Trent Dalton set up his sky-blue Olivetti typewriter and sat there asking people that walked by to tell him a love story.
You may have seen him if you were in the area in 2021. You may have told him a story. If you did, your story may have featured in his best-selling book Love Stories.
Love Stories has now been adapted into a play by playwright Tim McGarry and will be hitting Wollongong’s Illawarra Performing Arts Centre (IPAC) from the 27th February till 8th March.
Directed by Sam Strong and brought together by the creative team behind the smash-hit page-to-stage adaptation of Boy Swallows Universe you can expect a whirlwind production that will make you fall in love all over again. Playwright of Love Stories, Tim McGarry, chats with Danny Chifley on 2SER Breakfast.
