Europa! Europa! Film Festival: Julie Keeps Quiet

A new film, which explores the power imbalance that can exist between teenage athletes and their coaches; is on as part of Europa! Europa! Film Festival at the Ritz Cinemas in Randwick. The film explors a young tennis prodigy who is placed under enormous pressure after discovering her coach has been suspended for possible inappropriate sexual behaviour with a fellow student.  “Julie Keeps Quiet” offers a sympathetic and realistic portrayal of a young person navigating the hyper-competitive environment of professional sports.
2SER’s Stephen Hill spoke to the films director Leonardo Van Dijl about this film that is executive produced by former world no.1 tennis player Naomi Osaka.
