Radiodonts and the Evolution of Vision

Did you know that only 5% of the ocean has been explored? Majority of that knowledge is about the marine ecosystems occupying the top layer of the ocean – the sunlight zone. But what about the depths of the ocean?
John Paterson, Professor of Earth Sciences at the University of New England, joined us this morning to discuss his findings on the ancient deep-sea animals, radiodonts, and their role in the evolution of vision.
