City of Sydney boosting Chinatown’s start ups
The City of Sydney and startup hub Haymarket HQ are helping Australian entrepreneurs break into the global market through building Asia connections. With a $20,000 City grant, the startup hub will stage a program of events and online videos featuring successful entrepreneurs sharing their knowledge, experiences and insights with other businesses. Fran O’Brien, Manager of Economic Strategy at City of Sydney says that it is important to foster the tech startup ecosystem that is currently blooming, to help profile Sydney as a creative and innovative city.
