Local Council Election Results
#DemocracySausage was trending over the weekend, and that can only mean one thing – it was election time.
This time around it was local government elections, with 46 councils across the state being decided, including 26 newly amalgamated ones.
There were losses for the Liberals, and swings to Labor and the Greens.
To break down some of the numbers and explain some of the ins and outs of local government, Nic spoke to Dr Bligh Grant from the UTS Institute for Public Policy and Governance.
