New Virtual Reality Training for Firefighters
Firefighters put in a lot of time and effort when fighting fires and the majority of them are volunteers, and training for all of them is essential. But when they aren’t able to train, what do they do?
Associate Professor at the Institute for Intelligent Systems Research and Innovation at Deakin University, James Mullins has used virtual reality to create a new training system called the FLAIM trainer and joined Joel Cassim on Tuesday Drive to discuss the invention.
