It’s rare these days that we hear of something positive coming out of the Great Barrier Reef, the largest living thing on planet Earth. But this week, we received news that there’s a new coral species discovered! It’s the first new coral species to be discovered in 30 years. We speak with Dr Emma Camp, who was part of the discovery team, about what it was like to find this as yet unnamed new species, what it means for the reef, and what happens next.
