On occasion, we hear stories about someone who find themselves to be overnight multi-millionaires. However, they didn’t win the lottery or get an inheritance. Instead, their bank has given them the money completely by accident.

This was the case of Christine Jia Xin Lee, whose charges of “dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception and knowingly dealing with the proceeds of crime” was dropped last week, after spending over a million dollars deposited into her account on Gucci handbags and clothes.
