You really know the Christmas period is over when supermarkets start selling Easter eggs and hot cross buns, but when is it too early to do so? Aussie shoppers were surprised to find hot cross buns in some supermarket displays on Boxing Day – just over three months before Easter – and now all the major supermarkets are selling them, with some new varieties and flavours to choose from. 2SER’s Geoff Field and Stephanie Youssef joined Mick to do the very important job of eating, I mean, researching this sweet (and spicy) Easter treat – all in the name of very serious journalism.
