Gamers Unite! CanCon turns 40, but keeps growing
For forty years now people from around the country have been converging on Canberra, pulling out their magical broadswords, their hordes of orcs or their collections of Magic cards to slug it out for three days at the games tournament and convention, Cancon. With free entry to watch, thousands of people will attend over the three day event to compete, socialise and progress the world of board games and miniatures. To tell us about the event, we talked to Canberra Gaming Society’s Tim Sleigh, who’s been doing it for twenty years!
