QANTAS Conducts First Biofuel Flight To The States
QANTAS has conducted its first flight run using biofuel between Australia and the United States, after landing in Melbourne on Tuesday. Believe it or not, according to The Guardian, the biofuel is powered by farmer-grown mustard seed, and it promises to reduce carbon emissions by 7%. The airline aims to use this new form of renewable fuel for all flights to Los Angeles, by 2020.
