Australia is currently one of only 15 countries that does not recognise the human right to a healthy environment at a federal level.  The Australian Panel of Experts on Environmental Law recommended that environmental democracy in Australia needs to have a foundation. With amendments that need to be changed through legislation to allow this, what exactly will Australia look like with the human right to a healthy environment?
