Experiencing the world of Synesthesia
Can you smell your favourite song? Or taste your favourite colour? Well, you might have synesthesia; a phenomenon that mixes the sensors. Instead of just hearing a sound you could be tasting, seeing and even smelling that sound.
We chatted with Josh Berger, a PhD candidate researching synesthesia with Sydney Medical School and the School of Psychology who will talk about his research next week at the event The Taste of Purple. The event is unfortunately sold out, but to find out more and to keep up to date with all the presenting partners of the event, check out The Power Institute, Sydney Medical School and The Synaesthesia Research Group at Macquarie University.
