Frozen Frogs: Conserving amphibian life in Australia
With over 41,000 species now on the Union for Conservation of Nature’s “Red List”, Australian scientists are working hard to further conservation efforts.
Researchers at the University of Melbourne have made a breakthrough by freezing and re-growing frog cells in culture, possibly offering a new technique to protect endangered amphibians.
Jess was joined by one of those researchers, Richard Mollard, to discuss how the process works, and expose the reality of endangered frogs in Australia.
