Bushfires are an unfortunate but common occurrence during Australia’s warmer months, in many cases causing devastating physical,emotional and financial stress as well as loss of life,  for civilians and our local wildlife. This makes it even more disheartening to hear that current fires blazing through Sydney’s South West were not naturally caused. Associate Professor Janet Stanley from the Melbourne Sustainable Society Institute has written a number of publications surrounding prevention of bushfire arson in Australia joined to discuss more.
