John Howard Calls for Defunding of Mandatory Sex Education in Public Schools
Malcolm Turnbull has hit back on John Howard, after he has stated that the Federal Government should defund public schools that makes sex education mandatory for all children/ In a submission to the Ruddock religion review, the Former Prime Minister said that parents should have the right to withdraw their chidren from classes which ‘they might regard as contemptible with their values’.
Dr David Rhodes, a Senior Lecturer at Edith Cowan University and has argued for sex education in schools in the past, joined us on the Daily to have a chat about this.
