Bringing the joy of music to refugees and asylum seekers
In 2009, Philip Feinstein started the Music for Refugees project at the Villawood Detention Centre, bringing instruments and the joy of music to refugees and asylum seekers. Since then the project has grown exponentially, and spanned into other detention centres across the country. Ahead of Refugee Week next week, Philip is hosting a music jam at Villawood Detention Centre tomorrow.
