A sight for AI eyes?
Artificial intelligence is becoming increasing ingrained in each and every aspect of our society. What does it mean for us when AI gains access to one of our essential sense, sight? Scientists at Google’s DeepMind announced on 18th of June that they have created an algorithm system that can start to teach itself to see. This is a substantial breakthrough in artificial intelligence as gaining an understand a spatial environments has always been a challenge for computers.
