Saturday 14th –

Wilde Creatures

This new production at the Sydney Opera House is based on Oscar Wilde’s best loved tales, including The Happy Prince and The Nightingale and the Rose. You won’t want to miss joining a live band of storytelling musicians as they try to choose a new statue for the town square!

Sunday 15th – 

Bastille: Food Wine Art Revolution

This event is chockablock with your favourite triple threat combo: food, wine and art! Eat your way through from breakfast to dinner by attending the last day of Bastille’s Sydney French Festival to indulge in authentic French cuisine, fine wine and exquisite live artistry.

Head to circular quay on the rocks if you want to explore this fab, funky, and foodilicious event!

Monday 16th – 

Don’t Go To Bed with The Dollar Bin Darlings

Don’t Go To Bed with The Dollar Bin Darlings is an un-televised talk show held at The Bearded Tit in Redfern. The Dollar Bin Darlings will feature Jonny Hawkins, Andreas Lohmeyer, Mikala Westall and more. This is on at 7-9pm and tickets are only $10 so snatch ’em up while you can!

Tuesday 17th – 

Performing Perfection

You certainly won’t want to miss this one either. Laura Nash’s project, Performing Perfection, explores the true nature of bodily transformation through installation, sculpture and video. The exhibition is taking place between 10am and 4pm, so make sure you go check this out! And did we mention attendance is free?

Wednesday 18th – 

Hero from the Art Gallery of NSW Starburst Series

Catch Zhang Yimou’s 2002 Hero this Wednesday at the Art Gallery of NSW as part of the galleries Starburst series. AGNSW will be celebrating and showcasing some of China’s biggest and finest cinematic icons until late August. See a screening of this fabulous artistry at 2pm or 7.15pm with live music accompaniment. Cost: Free!

Thursday 19th – 

The Breaker Upperers Special Event Q&A at the Ritz

Catch the fantastic New Zealand duo behind one of this years funniest films, The Breaker Upperers, this Thursday at the Ritz. Jackie Van Beek and Madeleine Sami will be discussing everything about their first feature film, The Breaker Upperers. Tickets start from $20 and starts at 6.30pm!

Friday 20th –

Layers at the Galleries

Head to the Galleries to discover hidden art in LAYERS, an augmented reality gaming experience. Artists Antra Švarcs, Georgia Hill and We Buy Your Kids (WBYK) will showcase their creations filled with secret layers which can only be discovered through an app on your phone. Each layer you discover will earn you points towards a chance to win a trip for you and a friend Mona, Museum of Old and New Art in Hobart Tasmania. LAYERS will be running from Thursday 12 July to Sunday August 12… And it’s free too, how fabulous!
