Me – tourism: Are we travelling just for likes?

If you’ve been logging onto facebook or scrolling through instagram in the last few weeks it’s hard to miss the amount of people either sipping wine in Milan or eating tapas in Barcelona. But why are so many young people travelling? Is it simply for an adventure or is it to heighten their ‘social return’ on the internet?

To discuss this further, we were joined by Dr Robert Sinnerbrink, Associate Professor for the Department of Philosophy at Macquarie University.
