Learning about Bush Tucker with Jodi Orcher

There’s a growing trend towards growing our produce in community gardens, our backyards or foraging for food in public spaces. However, Australia’s ancient flora has dispensed the fruits of its toil for millennia and the holders of this ancestral know-how is embedded within the cultural lore of this continent’s first people.

Jess spoke with  Jody Orcher, a Barkindje Uralarai woman from Brewarrina about bush tucker, its medicinal properties, how flora relates to cultural identity and place.
