Children on Nauru suffering from Mental Illness
New research from two doctors who spent two years living on Nauru details the harrowing mental health condition that is affecting most children in detention on the island. Traumatic Withdrawal Syndrome is a condition that targets children and young people, diminishing their ability to eat, drink, walk, talk, and self-care.
