Challenges of refugee resettlement

You may have heard it said that the world is dealing right now with the greatest movements of refugees and migrants since the end of World War Two. Indeed, aside from the interlinked issue of Climate Change, refugee movements seem to be the biggest practical and moral challenge governments around the world are facing. Adele Garnier, Lecturer from the Department of Modern History, Politics and International Relations at Macquarie University, along with a group of other Australian and international scholars, have recently published a book, “Refugee Resettlement: Power, Politics, and Humanitarian Governance” tackling this issue and joined 2SER earlier this week to discuss it.
