Morrison Govt gives Private Schools Funding Boost

Last week, the Federal Government announced it will be providing an extra $4.6 billion to independent and Catholic schools to help cut school fees and improve diversity.

The decision has – naturally – provoked criticism from many corners as ‘hunger relief for the well fed’. They argue that the money could be better spent on assisting public schools instead.
