43 million people cross through Sydney International Airport every year. For many, flying is a nerve-wracking experience, but Assistance Dogs Australia is offering a furry, four-legged solution. American Airlines have just launched a first-of-its-kind program which places assistance dogs at the check-in area to help relax passengers. The positive effects for nervous flyers, airport staff and the pups themselves have already been seen over a trial period of the program, which will run 2 days/week in its initial stages.
