Canine Court Companions
Guide Dogs NSW/ACT has recently been trialling a new program to help people feeling anxious and stressed about entering a courtroom: the Canine Court Companions Program helps people in court by comforting them with support dogs who hopefully make the whole process easier.
To discuss dogs in court, Thursday Daily’s Sam Baran joined by the head of the Therapy Dog and Court Program at Guide Dogs NSW/ACT, Samantha O’Keefe.
