Vaccine For Coeliac Disease
For 160,000 Australians with coeliac disease, the only solution thus far has been a completely strict lifelong gluten-free diet. However, this may not be the only fix for this problem as a new world first vaccine is currently in its second testing phase in Melbourne. This vaccine and it’s accompanying research aims to end the need for gluten-free diets for coeliac disease. We are joined by Dr Jason Tye-Din from the WEHI and Royal Melbourne Hospital.
