Lest We Remember

Last Sunday was Remembrance Day, and 2018 marked the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. Many Australians took a minutes silence to remember the country’s bloodiest battles. But what about the war that follows some veterans home? Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Soon we might be able stop traumatic memories from forming so strongly in the brain with medication. But what would we be forgetting?

First Things First team members, Laura and Steph, spoke to an Afghanistan War veteran about his struggle with PTSD, and asked, would he choose to forget?
