In their latest Youth Unemployment Monitor, new stats that have just been released by the Brotherhood of Saint Laurence has highlighted startling figures claiming that 44% of all 20- to 24-year-olds are underemployed or unemployed. Not only that but the report found that part time employment has quadrupled in the 40 years, greatly affecting people’s ability to build a strong financial base. Dr Dan Woodman from  the University of Melbourne joined us to talk about these worrying trends.
