Yesterday Football Federation Australia announced Western Melbourne Group and Macarthur South West United as the two winning bids to be granted A-League licenses over the next two seasons. Expanding the league to twelve teams had been seen as a big step forward in continuing to grow and secure the future of football in Australia, but are these two new teams the answer to stagnating crowds and television ratings?
