The Welcome Choir is an all inclusive choir that blurs the line between performance and participation. They hold events twice a month in Casula and Enmore singing fun popular songs in a three-part harmony led by the charismatic choir master, Bek Jensen.

Tess was joined in the studio by co-founder and director of the Welcome Choir, Betty Judd, to talk about their upcoming performance that will be held on 15 January 2019 at 6.30pm in World Square as part of the Fly Me to the Moon World Square event. They will be performing the jazz classic Fly Me to the Moon and audience participation is heavily encouraged. The Sydney Festival is holding the event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of man landing on the moon and will run until 27 January.
