Academics affected by loneliness epidemic
Recent research has found that there is a rising epidemic of loneliness from those working in the industry of academia in global universities, with all participants reported having to deal with at least one form of isolation in their academic careers.
To discuss his recent collaborative research, ‘Isolation in Globalizing Academic Fields’ and the future of this epidemic, we had Dr Bernardo Figueiredo, Senior Lecturer in Marketing, RMIT University on The Daily.
