Following this event, serious discussion has been opened up in the science world, regarding ethical research standards, and the degree to which scientists comply. Australian scientists are contributing to this discussion currently, with their research into ethical research standards and organ transplants in China.
Tess spoke to Wendy Rogers is a Professor in Clinical Ethics at Macquarie University, and the Chair of the International Advisory Committee for the International Coalition to End Transplant Abuse in China.
