Surrendering your pet for adoption
It may be one of the hardest decisions we’ll ever have to make: deciding to give up a pet for adoption.
Unimaginable as it seems to most fur parents, it may be in the pet’s best interests if their owner is simply no longer able to take care of them.
Dr Anne Fawcett, Lecturer in veterinary science at Sydney University and a companion animal practitioner at Sydney Animal Hospital spoke with The Daily’s Victor Petrovic about this.
