The Role of Women in Climate Politics
Climate Change is a global problem which will impact us all, regardless of gender. But, as we heard on last week’s show, women are the ones stepping up and becoming more proactive in tackling its impacts.
As an example of this, the all female Homeward Bound expedition to Antarctica which promoted the role of women in STEM, gained a first hand look at the damage climate change is causing.
Tonia Gray, a Senior Researcher of Educational Research at Western Sydney University, spoke with The Daily’s Victor Petrovic about the journey.
