Being a new mother can be an incredibly exciting time in a woman’s life. For many the experience of bringing a new baby into the world is one of the greatest joys imaginable – but, as many of us know, new babies aren’t all sweet smiles and cute cuddles.

La Trobe University have been trailing a peer based support method for new mums in an attempt to provide some much needed infrastructure for information sharing and moral support and early trials have yielded some interesting findings.
