Tuesday Book Club:
This week, Andrew Pople and Tess Connery discuss an all-Australian larrikin crime novel – “Hiding to Nothing” by Andy Muir.
“Hiding to Nothing” is the fourth installment in the Lachie Munro series. Lachie Munro is a Newcastle painter by day, underworld detective by night.
The novel is character driven and features punchy dialogue that keeps the pages turning all too easily.
But interestingly enough, “Hiding to Nothing” is a very originally crafted crime novel that forgoes many of the tropes of the genre, such as violence against women.
“Hiding to Nothing” is out now and available from all good booksellers in store and online.
