Sauvage (Wild)
Enter into a world, into a myth about the patriarchy with Sauvage (Wild).
Sauvage is a mashup of primal female storytelling, drums, belly dancing, physical theatre and song. Spoken in English, Arabic and Spanish, this is a tribute to those fighting for the right to return to their natural skin.
Nicole sits down with Aanisa Vylet, writer and performer of Sauvage (Wild) about how the show explores language, patriarchy, feminism, cultural intersections, and how this realises itself into physical theatre performance.
Sauvage (Wild), Griffith Theatre Company, 8 – 11 May, book your tickets here.
