First up on New Music this week we’re introducing LA based band The Dream Syndicate. An alternative rock band, originally active from 1981 to 1989, and reunited since 2012. Their second album, post reformation, has just been released, featuring our favorite track “The Way In” from album ‘These Times’.

We’re also taking a look at Bobby Oroza, a Finnish singer-song writer who had a childhood filled with an abundance of musical influence from relatives alike. In his debut album ‘This Love’, he reflects an influence of early jazz and blues, Motown hits and Do-Wop vibrations. Our pick track from this album is “Keep On Believing”, a classic feel good soul/soft rock tune you can’t not love.

Esther Edquist, her moniker known as ‘Sweet Whirl’, a Melbourne singer- song writer who has just put out a 6 track EP called “Lovesongs and Poetry”. We’re in love with her song “Rubber Heart”, off her new EP. Have a listen and enjoy this great New Music!
