Why Do We Love Prequels So Much?
Prequels are more prominent than ever with Harry Potter’s Fantastic Beasts, Marvel’s Captain Marvel and Star Wars’ Solo it seems like we can’t get enough of them. Is this true? Do we have a desire to see our old favourites with younger faces or have film studios just decided to play it safe in franchises they know work? We had Glen Donnar, senior lecturer in the school of media communications to discuss Prequels and their role in modern cinema.
