Sex Education for People With Disabilities

Earlier this month, a woman with a disability won the right to have a sex therapist paid for under the NDIS. It’s one of the few times that the words ‘sex’ and ‘disability’ are used in the same sentence. When it comes to leading a full and fulfilling sex life, there are many barriers facing people with disabilities – whether physical or otherwise. We chat to Alicia Melitta from Northcott Disability Services about how we can ensure people with disabilities have access to a full and fulfilling sex life.
