More people are working more jobs

Do you work multiple jobs to stay afloat? According to some new stats from the Australian Bureau of Statistics, 1 in 4 people under 30 have more than one job- and 53% of those people are women.

They also tend to work across multiple industries, whether it’s hospitality and retail, or healthcare and administration jobs. So how come we’re branching out so much? And what has it got to do with the gig economy and the pay gap? Tess talked to Thomas Costa, Assistant Secretary at Unions NSW to find out why so many of us aren’t sticking to just one main source of income anymore.
