The Legacy of Toni Morrison

Yesterday, Australians woke up to the news that the American writer Toni Morrison had died at the age of 88.

The Nobel Laureate, best known for her Pulitzer-prize winning novel Beloved, left an indelible mark on American Literature.

To discuss Morrison’s legacy, I’m joined by Paul Giles, Challis Professor of English at the University of Sydney.

Professor Giles is the author of the recently published American World Literature: An Introductiofrom Wiley-Blackwell.
