The Future of Sydney’s Water Supply

It’s easy to take water for granted.

However, recently, water has become more scarce than you might think.

Last week, the dams that provide clean water to Sydney have dropped to 50% capacity, the lowest they’ve been in 15 years. We’re currently on the edge of a deepening drought that will eat into these reserves.

It is predicted that, as the population increases and the effects of climate change are felt, the supply of water in Sydney will become far less reliable. We were joined by Dr Ian Wright to discuss water supply for Sydney.
