Bob Carr on Trump and Turkey
Former NSW Premier, Foreign Minister and ACRI Director Bob Carr is now the Industry Professor at UTS. This new role seeks to bring together the Institute for Sustainable Futures with the UTS Business School to tackle Climate Change in a new and innovative way.
He came into 2SER to talk Climate, Industry and global politics. The Wire’s Roderick Chambers asked him what the ramifications were going to be for the Kurdish people following US President Trump’s sudden conversation with Turkish President Erdogan on Sunday. It appeared to green light an invasion of Kurdish held territory in northern Syria.
