A fertility program for booming population of koalas

Now, you may have heard that koalas have been called ‘functionally extinct’ by the Australian Koala Foundation. But in some parts in the country – especially in South Australia – there are in fact too many koalas, with booming populations threatening local vegetation and prompting a birth control.
