A new capital for Indonesia?

With over 30 million people living in Greater Jakarta, the Indonesian government is considering moving its capital to a less crowded location, with the re-elected president Joko Widodo outlining a bold policy agenda of moving the capital to East Kalimantan.

To discuss the logistics and rationale behind moving the capital away from Jakarta Stephen Hill talked to Dr Riza Yosia Sunindijo, Associate Professor and Director of Postgraduate Research in the Faculty of Built Environment at the University of New South Wales.
